Yes--it has been a long, long, ten years since the last real rally in the silver market and that rally cost a lot of silver enthusiasts a great deal of money when it petered out. For years the shorts have been milking the futures market for cash by borrowing silver to cover short sales. Or so i now understand it.

That may be over.

But when something is as beat down for as many years as this, good news is hard to believe. it's like common stocks in 1982, maybe. Though it will never go that far because producers will come on line and satisfy demand.

I think there may be two or three good years ahead for silver producers.
