Todd, LOL because I think I lost my head for a moment back there :o)
>>What makes you think that sales are future growth? Sales and earnings are both present growth. Only forecasters can indicate future growth<<
HAHA, see I told you I had lost my head (actually my 8 year old son wrote it while I was sleeping, yeah that's it)
I do not use cornerstone strategy by O'shaughnessey which I agree has been structured to the large caps (or larger :o)
PSR was aready out of sight compared to the method in his book I was reading in August when I first bought in. I'm SURE glad I put the book down, and decided to discover the SI SMTC thread instead :o)
I posted Michael Murphy's Growth Flow formula here, I like it, and I am have not lost my head when I say that. R&D is critical to future growth, in fact I prefer companies that funnel money back into R&D instead of pacifying stock holders with wasted dividends. So much for any immediate intentions to become a dividend investor :o)
>>I don't think a P/S comparison to an industry is useful, unless most of the companies have similar profit margin<<
The pupil humbly bows his head, looks to his teacher, and asks "Sensei, can you please for sake of clarification enlighten me in this matter?" WOW, I think I don't know what I thought I know, and I think I don't even know about what I should know. Oops, there goes my head again :o)
