Tough week. A new respect for anyone dealing with alzheimer's, or dealing with someone with
alzheimer's. Finding I cringe when the phone rings, which shouldn't be. Health, not money definitely
the more important thing in life.
My 92 year old mother closer to moving in with us after finding bills in her drawer marked paid
two weeks ago, that were not paid. Knowing you are losing it may be harder than not realizing it.
Set up two Amazon Shows this week. If my mother and sister can just remember to say Alexa, they can
call anyone they have as a contact in their phones easily. My brother setting up the drop in feature
for my mother, so we can see what is going on at her house anytime. Will have to add a few cameras around the house.
I get up Thursday morning to my computer out of commission. Had to uninstall and reinstall Windows
to get up and running. Among other things, lost 11 logins on Ameritrade. I keep good records, and
older accounts, a question can just be answered, but two newer accounts, a code needed to be
texted and relayed to me. Planning on having the associated numbers changed to mine, or they can
handle their accounts on their own.
A pain in the a$$ week, but have to realize it is much better to be the one that has to handle
the problems, than be the ones with the problems. |
