Concerning the future embodiment of electronics in general one thing to keep in mind is the move to >.25 microns in chip etching. The silicon is going to get much smaller and use much less power. One of the best and most savy stock boards I've ever read is the SI CYMI thread. This US based company makes the best laser technology (practically a monopoly) on the move below .25 microns. I wonder if IOM egineers are assuming design and use of new chips that are cutting edge in size and power? Damn, I should of bought those calls last week...
