Re: Turbo-Tax ROC adjustment

I never have done it but I am going to check w/ Schwab (their 1099 has my BGS div income) to see if/when they would adjust and if they do, where the adjustments come on their 1099.

I believe the qualified dividend total is reduced by the ROC amount. On their detailed schedule there is a column titled "Paid/Adjusted in 2023 for 2022" may be completed when they do their adjusted/update to the 1099 later in June. If this is the case, rather than waiting for the updated 1099, I will manually reduce my 'Qualified Dividend" total for Schwab to reflect the 'corrected' Qualified Div total.

I will talk to Schwab on Tuesday. The Form 8937 from BGS is your back up confirmation that the div income is ROC.
