I just find superhero trash boring and juvenile. I always assumed most people would outgrow it after a certain point like 30ish, but I hear it vigorously debated on radio by (and for) plenty of people older than that. Too bad it sucks up so much Hollywood capital and attention. There is very little room for anything alternative to make it through the studio system. Why make "Private Ryan" when you can do Marvel chapter 36 and know it will make $300 million? The actors chase the big paychecks too.
