Re: Nomai

That's it, I'm out tomorrow no matter what. Iomega will finally have the coffin nail driven into its head in the market once this news sets in. This stock is a fleabag.

Thanks to this wise decision by the US courts, Iomega will finally get its just desserts by being forced to compete on a level playing field with other commodity disk drive companies. Iomega until now has gotten away with charging obscenely high prices for Zip discs, and is about to have its lifeblood sucked right out of its body by the Vampyre Nomai.

On a store shelf, what do you think the average Joe will buy? Iomega/Fuji for $13 each? Or Nomai for $5? With the very few laptop Zips sold, it doesn't make a difference if they work in them or not, because they matter very little. Iomega's declining revenue growth and its one-product liability were already points of concern for The Street-- now this.

For once, the courts have made the right decision in lifting the Nomai ban-- one that benefits the consumer over the interests of a greedy, customer-hostile company.

This stock will tank tomorrow.
