I only fear that the oem side of Tiger will come after Radica on a big price basis for fear of losing what must be a big contract.

I'll tell you what im worried about(sorry CYBERKEN). David tells us that Radica does ODM(Original design manufacturing) for Hasbro. Hasbro has just bought a game design company(Tiger). Now how likely is it that Hasbro is going to continue to use Radica to design games? And if Tiger is now designing the games for Hasbro, why would Tiger rather use Radica as a OEM instead of their current OEM whom they already have a relationship with? They ARE direct competitors right?

This whole Hasbro/Tiger is not good news for Radica(with the exception that it may make Radica more valuable as a takeover target). This seems very clear to me. Radica now has a much stronger competitor and will undoubtably not recieve any NEW ODM(or OEM) business from Hasbro. And im sadened that we obviously wont recieve any of that Star Wars action now.

We must assume that this is what the shorts had in mind. Lets just hope they don't have any more suprises for us.

On the bright side the new games from Radica look like they will kick some serious @ss. I expect the success of these games will make the loss of future Hasbro contracts almost insignificant.
