You are kidding? <G> I have always had faith in H&Q: RESEARCH ALERT - Informix raised Hambrecht & Quist LLC -- BUY Recommendation LOS ANGELES, Feb. 12 (Reuters) - Hambrecht & Quist LLC raised its rating on shares of Informix Corp to buy from hold after the company reported a fourth quarter profit of $0.05 a share versus analysts' consensus of a loss of $0.16 a share. -- said the company's revenue recognition ''appears conservative'' and cost savings were substantial. -- said balance sheet is healthy with shareholder equity rising from a negative $6.0 million to a positive $61 million. -- boosted 1998 earnings estimate to a profit $0.09 from a loss $0.14.
