That puts my additional revenue into a high tax bracket in good years. The tax rate of max 20% on dividends and capital gains points me to want dividends vs additional passive income. I checked my K-1 for 2021 for EPD and MMP, and both delivered me negative business income for 2021. So I'm not completely understanding your tax comment. Would the fact that MMP and EPD throw off NEGATIVE business income change your view? Or is it something else? It's not possible to use negative busines income from MMP (for example) to offset positive business income from your dealership.....is it? That would be nice!
