WMB was only 17.8% ROC.

I just looked at the past three years for WMB dividend/distribution info

2020 - 95% of the dividend was non-taxable
2021 - 70% of the dividend was non-taxable
2022 - 18% of the dividend was non-taxable

That sorta sucks.

Maybe it's because they are becoming more and more profitable, and have used up all their depreciation, and, uhhhh, whatever other stuff allows them to classify dividends as tax free distributions?

WMB wth a 5.7% yield - and most of it gets taxed - is starting to look less and less appealing.

WMB has 2.62x adjusted funds from operation dividend coverage. Pay us more, dammit!
