LOL !!! When I was a young kid... we had a milk box... and the milkman drove his route, daily, dropping off whatever your standing order asked for... while picking up a paper slip with any change requests for the next delivery... As a busy adult, we ate way to much stuff from the Schwann's truck... And, today... DoorDash, etc., trying to duplicate what pizza places do with delivery... but making it cost far more... charging you more than the pizza delivery... while also taking so much money from the restaurants in discounts that it has them lose money on every order placed using those services... It does seem like there has to be an easier way to close the loop on... the advantages technology enables... and the kid from the corner grocery store boxing up your order and taking it to your house for you... ?
