Appreciate the share, it was a good read.
In the spirit of transparency, I am not entirely sure (even bordering on cautiousness) on this entire ChatGPT hype. As an internet user, I can extrapolate its growing significance in our daily lives going forward, and am grateful for such technologies coming into existence.
As an amateur investor however, I am not entirely comfortable with hopping onto the bandwagon this early on. AI developments such as ChatGPT, have not proven their ability as a cash/ income generator and is slightly better than haze at the moment. As with most new technologies, we will probably see marker share battles of epic proportions before consolidations occurs. IMO, laying chips on the table by then even, would not be considered late by most measures.
Of course, and VC guy/ gal reading my opinions above would laugh him/ herself to sleep tonight lol, but I gotta be real with myself: I do not feature their forward thinking vision + insights.
Regardless, I do think this is an extremely exciting development for any internet/ tech enthusiast and will continue to keep a keen interest in the industry moving forward.
