It's a shame that there's a lot of talk on this board, but nobody really knows what's going on. Just passing by, so let me explain. Goldman Sachs is in the midst of its huge annual technology conference in New York this week. At yesterday's luncheon panel, Paul Wick, a portfolio manager and sometime media star, recommended the stock to the audience of a thousand or so money managers as one of his favorites for the year. This AM, Goldman went out with a big push on the stock, highlighting the company's after hours presentation today at their conference. Add this to the nice technical picture of the stock and a general enthusiasm for stocks that haven't moved much in technology (LRCX, etc.), and presto, fire to kindling. I don't know what they said at their presentation, but I'm sure Goldman will tell us tomorrow how wonderful it was... Have a nice evening.
