I don't think the misfortune stops at her replacement being worse (or, better, if you're a leftie). Lori is now free to claim the Democrat nomination for President of what's left of the United States, right after Buck Fiden steps aside to enable the historic nomination of the first LGBTQ+ woman of color, nicely finessing the Uncle Joe has a case of dementia problem. I predict she will then historically win by garnering a surprising 87 million votes in another totally clean and fair American presidential election. This result will be attributed to her support among suburban white women voters. It's so perfect that it's difficult not to believe it's been planned all along.
