bmi has limited utility for folks who seriously weight train or body build, as i'm sure you know.
the assumption is that folks have 'average' muscle/fat ratio...
which is untrue for those who weight train at a high level (much higher level than average person).
those who weight train at a high level have more muscle tissue/adipose tissue and the 'overweight' cut score is an inaccurate estimate of their health.

according to folk wisdom: assumption makes an ass out of you and me.
