Roger, someone (Upstater, in post 2881) tonight asked about ELNK and MSPG. You were right about ELNK; don't underestimate Garry (seems like a great guy BTW). The deal they struck with Sprint is incredible.

Upstater, while I am amazed at the valuations of those two companies and sentiment seems to shift against them quickly sometimes, they are growing so fast that their fundamentals can catch up to the valuations very quickly. Also, the numbers can only work better with pricing pressure from above (AOL) gone. The ones competing on price now are smaller, with less capital, fewer POPs, etc. There may be room for them too, but ELNK and MSPG seem to be carving out a nice position for themselves. In short (no pun intended), they are very real, viable companies providing quality services that are in great demand.

Sorry to sound like such a cheerleader, but unless you can time your short to catch the next batch of warnings about ADSL or cable modems putting them out of business (which I don't believe BTW), I think shorting these is way too risky.

Good luck,
Bob

PS: Roger, how much are Duke-Tech tickets for 2/25 at the Thriller Dome going for?
