There was a time when it was really needed, rivers catching on fire and all that.

Now they're regulating mud puddles as navigable waterways, banning clean and efficient gas stoves and heaters, mandating electric cars and trucks (modern ICE engines are virtually pollution free), and to top it off, planning for us to eat bugs for dinner, as cow farts are destroying the planet.

Bureaucracies, like the EPA, never shrink. They metastasize unless pulled up by the roots. Looking at our entrenched leviathan of a federal government, there's no chance of that happening..
