Community First is a great housing program for the homeless, and it is located out of town from Austin TX. Alan Graham started it, after starting a food truck program for homeless called Mobile Loaves and Fishes. Well worth checking out. Chronic homeless move into micro homes, pay rent, and have built a nice community with help.
