The plane was actually a drone, but unclear whether it could have carried a pilot. Interesting that at the time military scientists were completely baffled and absolutely stupefied as to what the paired device was all about, especially because such gear not necessary to defeat folks wearing pyjamas and marching in flip flops.

A third hint, Team China is splicing autonomous DNA into obsolete but numerically huge fighter fleet to ready absorb any and all air defence anyone might field in the nearby arenas even as these neo-drones are being equipped with advanced long-range(s) air-to-air rockets that forms part of air defence shields.
But again yes, Team USA must first on-shore re-shore friend-shore EVERYTHING, and then go from that get-go starting point ... the victory should be worth it if achievable, especially if against oppositions inside and outside the domain equally hard.
