| That's interesting.
I've been advocating the benefits of clearly visualizing structure using 3-D seismic outside of the oil patch for a long, long time... seems its finally happening, now.

I think this is the first instance I've seen of it actually being considered... they say a bit done in Aussie land already... which requires some study...

But, given the scale of the project... and the structural nature of the play... the rock types in contrast within the geological / structural underpinning ? The cost element and comparison in efficiency in "drilling blind holes" to determine structure... versus "drilling targets to test well visualized structures"... hard to imagine a better project location for trying this...

It also does, perhaps, help to explain my prior discomfiture... that the drilling they have been doing appeared to be deliberately going out of its way to avoid generating resolution useful in "resource definition"... as "insufficiently dimensional"... all the holes drilled in parallel grids... none perpendicular to help resolve local distribution within the structure. It appears now they're counting on this in providing resolution within structure, as well as resolution of structure... and, there's probably no better way to do that... as any hole you drill is still going to be subject to the "nugget effect" issues... Once you have a "high resolution" picture to use as a base in modeling... you can hang other skins on that frame. So, will be interesting to see, as that evolves.

You've seen the opposite here already... where they drill holes and then, from the limited data gleaned... try to use high tech software to reverse engineer a low resolution view of the structure... to use as a guide to direct future efforts... when, probably all it can really do... give a general picture... or better guide infill drilling... still leaving all the un-drilled ground just as "opaque" as it was before ?

"Decades to come"... in context... clearly pointing out that this information is not only an exploration tool... but replaces a lot of the need for the usual in "technical holes" drilled "in the dark"... in order to investigate and pre-engineer approaches to development. If you have a high res view of structure, and know the rocks... you can avoid bad approaches... or avoid mine structures built in ore that shut it off from development... or select the most competent rock to use for mine structure... and your future mine development planning process is hugely de-risked by "seeing where you're going" before setting out...

"Decades to come"... also just a statement about the known in the scope and scale of the project... because there's no way its going to happen in less time than that... ?

Don't miss, though... how they talked about the north end of the project ground...

"delineating lithologies, alteration sequences, structural features and most importantly areas of mineralization across broad expanses and to great depths"... "This means our 3D seismic survey will be starting off with a very strong dataset from which to train from, covering known zones such as Keats, Golden Joint, and Lotto. This will guide us as we then extrapolate this data to the areas directly around and beneath these zones, as well as well outside of these areas, and in great detail".

Obvious beneficiaries... not just NFGC... but, NFLDF, NKOSF... I pointed out Sky Gold previously, as probably just having misunderstood structural relationships... so having wasted time/$ drilling in wrong places. What if they'd had this information in hand before making the effort ?

So, NFGC will probably figure out soon... before anyone else... if there's stuff nearby they think they need to own... And, not just "on trend"... but likely along edges where others have backed up to them... on either side.... but certainly to the east of JBP... where others likely are controlling ground over "deep structure"... ?

NFGC today... down as much as silver... down twice what gold is ?

The market is, per usual, deaf, dumb and blind... to "value creation" happening... Not being that, the point of keeping nose to grindstones as markets do what markets do. Although, see NKOSF up a bit, today... so, apparently, not everyone asleep at the switch ? NFLDF down 10%... potentially biggest beneficiary as largest landholder on structure in extension...

Maybe NFGC need to tout the "application of AI" in better resolving seismic... and finding gold... ? LOL!!!

It would be useful to map out their survey zones... relative to near neighboring properties... to see what you might expect to see "nearby" in coming months / years...
