The US is Brazil's largest FDI source with nearly R$ 1 trillion (nearly US$ 192 billion) in 2021, almost 4x times the amount of the next largest country source of investments.

Comparing to China that imports commodities, 55% of Brazilian exports to the United States are in value-added goods and services.

Among the principal Brazilian exported products to the United States include aircraft and parts, semi-finished steel products, and partially manufactured wood products.

Now the us needs to increase cooperation an trade in metals and minerals. In 2020, the US and Brazil announced the establishment of a U.S.-Brazil Critical Minerals Working Group to advance bilateral cooperation on critical minerals.

As two of the largest agricultural producers and exporters in the world, together the United States and Brazil feed nearly one quarter of the world’s population.

One quarter of the world population is 2 billion people.
