Jim, Can't tell you when or if earnings will be posted for a while.

The Company has a new CFO as of early January and is reportedly having to convert over to the new fiscal year. Since it posted the old third quarter already, I understand that it will take some time. I was told that the auditors recommended the change in fiscal year in order to deal with the sales of Foniks Writers being realized disproportionately in the first month of each calendar quarter. I have been busy on my own deal lately and don't know where the Company stands on this issue.

About my comment on the pricing. Everyone I have talked to at ERGB from directors on down to some line employees has said that they expect to perform well in the next fiscal year. They are telling me that sales are up and that the Cheetah acquisition should produce more sales of Foniks Writers. I don't know how that relates to earnings in this fiscal year ending Feb. 1998, other than I've been assured that the company is profitable. I've been more focused on what will happen in the next fiscal year. I've been told that the Co. is realizing profits but is being extra careful in light of the attacks and the heavy scrutiny by shorts. My understanding is that the Co. may be looking to beat the $1.00 per share forecast in the next fiscal year. If that is correct, the current price is a steal at just over $6.00.

There's a lot more news. Most of it hasn't been released yet. The officers and directors seem to be getting tired of watching the stock languish while they feel that the company has performed and is likely to perform really well in the coming year. My sense is that they are keeping quiet about their plans for now but hope to be able to have more control over events and to be more proactive in the coming year. They have been consulting confidentially with some outsiders on some of the strategic issues. I'm only getting bits and pieces of information at this time.
