You don't have to send a copy of your k-1 to your broker (the trustee in tax-deferred accounts). Broker seems to get information automatically -- at least in my experience.

You might want to confirm about pooling. I've read the opposite from you: You do not get to pool UBTI (negatives offset positives) from several mlp's that are in one account. Perhaps I've read wrong or misunderstood though.
