Bob- I was under the impression the securities above the SIPC threshhold are protected by the Lloyds policy but I was unsure if the cash sweep is also covered. So I appreciate the clarification

I also have other accounts with Interactive Brokerage and Fidelity for excess funds but I much prefer the thinkorswim platform.

I have been raising cash since Mar 2021 and have been in a 40-60% range since the end of that year. Since they greatly reduced the commissions for options I have been selling in most cases very short term dated puts with the cash and in most cases have no intention of wanting to own shares in most of my puts so the deltas are typically extremely low but I usually perform the trade when the volatility is increased.

I have patiently been waiting for the next QE before I start to consider aggressively buying stocks again.
