LOL !!! Biden... the hero who directed the full might of the U.S. military to... pop the balloon...

Chest thumping about it... is more than a tad ridiculous...

He's an idiot... as that makes clear...

Although... he is less ridiculous... and he's less of an idiot... than the guy who thought the balloon a good idea.

Which fact... given Biden being shown to be an idiot... does not at all relate to... or otherwise alter the fact... whatever else is true... that China MASSIVELY disrespected the U.S., and appear to think it doesn't matter.

And, as that is the way of the world... there will in all likelihood... be hell to pay for that...

But, for now... its just a "note"... American's historically tend to be inordinately... overly... patient. Slow to anger. Slow to act. As also... too slow to recognize changing realities... and, the usual, in always being able to count on Americans "doing the right thing", if only after first having tried everything else...

So. "Noted"... now. Eyes opened.

American's are... have been... perfectly happy to have friendly relations with China... even while remaining blissfully unaware that Wall street was being friendly with China primarily in order to hurt other Americans... also while thinking it would not matter. But, China is not being friendly, today... having pretty obviously, deliberately, and un-apologetically... acted purposefully... expecting it to not be noticed, perhaps... while trying, it appears, to enable a decapitating first strike on American strategic nuclear weapons.

Or, perhaps, this same "Cat and Mouse" game has been going on for a while... with no one ever bothering to tell the American people about it ? But... cat's out of the bag, now...

Note to self: China is an enemy... clearly want to be enemies... and have already made that choice... are acting on it... apparently while thinking they can avoid the consequences of having made that choice.

Seems a bad idea to me... but, rule #1... you don't get to make the other guys choices for him.

Still, just fact, the exercise of influence has limits, and, it appears limits have been deliberately exceeded...

So, things shall become more interesting from here, it seems... as escalating now to direct threats made from the top, in China... which seems it puts "balloon games" in clear enough context... as either intended to be, or hoping to enable an attack... that failed.

As a rule of thumb... you should not expect to enable idiots with power... and expect they will not misuse it...

In their uses of it... you should expect idiocy....

And, as that is what we do see... that, and only that, on all sides... I guess it should not be a surprise ?
