UAN distributions are not special dividends (they have no affect on existing strike prices) as far as I know.

the main appeal to me with a UAN put sale is the premium is automatically considered a 60% LTCG 40% STCG without holding it for a year.

This should be true of all MLP options. However, even for UAN I have a year where Schwab reported UAN option trades as regular equity option trades on my 1099, while TDA (properly) reported them as 1256 Income (which splits 60% LT 40% ST).
