The GDRs, primarily listed in Zurich, have tended to trade at discounts... Seems a fairly simple and mostly harmless arbitrage trade... I do the same thing all the time with Canadian vs U.S. listings... as the same shares listed here and there will often trade differently in different markets... An easy couple percentage points available just by buying lows in the right market... and timing sales with awareness of the lags... as otherwise by routing orders well, to platforms with "better" execution... and good tools to optimize timing... as makes a big difference in transaction costs over time. A staple for some silver traders... to buy in Asia... sell in New York... or visa versa... just as "time difference" and local flavor colors the day's trade ? Easy profit if "have fingers on pulses" and can parse drivers of trends in different venues well enough ? Not a game for me though... Given trends... Not sure Europe will work as a source of $ in back-filling for external funding too much longer... Best get it while can... ? Perhaps Zelenski looking to IPO a gas exploration company in eastern Ukraine ? Hunter tapped out ?
