We waste huge amounts of water.

I see it all the time as I work in the homes of the rich.

I personally started conserving water 35 years ago. Tore out my lawn, all low water landscaping. Low flow shower heads. Managed a loft, put in low flow showerheads.

I was watching TV about a woman who foolishly built a home in the desert. In her community they are OUT of water completely. She has her own storage tank, water is trucked in. She bragged she now uses grey water to flush her toilets.

I've been doing that for decades. My consumption is 10 - 20% of the average in my neighborhood. In the rich communities I work in my consumption is 3 - 5% of what they use. I have my own clothes washing machine. I'm not using a landramat's water.
Government will not stops climate change for us nor will it fix the climate problem. I do it for my own sense of well being. Nothing will stop climate change until things get REALLY REALLY bad.

I also know liberals generally don't walk the walk. Easy to see, they speed mercilessly. Slowing to speed limit would cut CO2 and gasoline usage 25%, driving down gas prices. I don't understand how liberals can claim to be against animal cruelty but eat meat. Vegetarianism alone would stop climate change... it wouldn't reverse it but it'd stop it. Methane is 20 - 30 times worse than CO2. Ranching is the #2 worst water polluter.

Conservatives are easier to understand on climate change... simple ignorance and selfishness. They just don't give a shit.
