A lot of CRE and related companies seem pretty beat up. I have BXMT, STWD, BRSP, UNIT, VNO-M on watch list and even bought a little UNIT today off this blurb: benzinga.com I guess they didn't answer the "are they bargains or yield traps" question. I guess time will tell. Maybe slowly build a position in some of these because even if they are cheap, they seem to be in the "cheap and getting cheaper" category.
