COTS as of March 7, 2023 - (I missed this report posted on Thursday. There was no report posted today for the cut off period of Tuesday see news release here. This would have caught up all the reports since the cyber event at the end of January.

Playing Catching Up

The delayed COT report shows the commercials decreased their net short positions in both silver and gold.

Ed Steer's comments:

"The commercial net short position is the lowest its been in more than eight years ..."

" ... from a COMEX futures market perspective, its very bullish for gold -- and white-hot incandescent for silver."
