Hello Walt: In response to your post concerning the dyke complex.
As well.,, my conversations with Randy helped explain it better
and hopefully Winspear as well is hoping the 15 degree slope translates to a similiar depth when traced to 186. The 15 degree
slope if extended to the 186 anamolgy correlates very closely to
the plane on land intersections. In other words the gently sloping
sill or dyke if extended from the points of intersection and one laid
a protractor from those points., and factored in the slope of the trend
it would intersect 186 at about the level of current kimberlite intersections. Interesting huh.
Sincerely
George J. Tromp
PS this is a theory yet to be proven but sounds interesting.
