Zoran's JPEG Technology Begins Shipping
SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 13, 1998--Iomega Corporation (NYSE:
IOM - news) announced today that it has begun volume shipments of the Buz(R) multimedia
producer, featuring industry-leading JPEG technology from Zoran Corporation (NASDAQ:
ZRAN - news). Buz offers one of the most convenient and cost-effective tools for consumers to
capture home videos and photos from camcorders and digital cameras and create personalized
movies on the PC. Jaz(R) one-gigabyte (GB) and Jaz 2GB drives and disks are ideal companions
to Buz offering high capacity storage for large video and graphics files, further allowing the PC to
become a personal multimedia studio.
