imho the UK ceased to have a real Parliament and corrupt officials with secret agenda's took over the system a long time ago.

This problem can be fixed by reversing all the centralization that has taken place of the last five or so decades. In every walk of life from health and education to investment and planning. Sure there can be nation sizes projects, but they will be few in number and monitored. The reason for that is we want projects that are a success, not yet more screw ups. There have been lots of screw ups and very few successes.

the thedailybeast.com is not a place I would contemplate solutions of the AI kind.
