UBS has agreed to purchase Credit Suisse for 0.5401 francs per share, 71% below the closing price of 1.86 francs on Friday. - globalnews.ca

This knock-down price is still double the billion Dollar price UBS had initially proposed.

Credit Suisse shareholders will receive their payment in the form of UBS stock.

The Swiss National Bank has agreed to offer a $100 billion liquidity line to Credit Suisse as part of the deal.
