ok..the phrase 'setting up soes' is now clear for me but how about the second part of my question, the trader could route the order so that the client's order improves the inside market can you explain that a little bit further? a couple of more questions, when you are 'working' the order i understand that you have to decide whether you 'brodacast on SN' OR 'preference a MM' OR 'call a MM by phone'. what are your criteria to decide which way is the best? is this a matter of experience?
