I hate to suggest something like this, but for the spo bid to be that high suggests that there is somebody trying to buy a chunk of this company on the sly through the SPO and willing to pay a premium. Tom's question, where was the interest 2 days ago, is a damn good one. If there was nobody interested in buying on the open market a few days ago, why would they subscribe above the market price? The only thinkg I can think of is that the SPO offers an opportunity to get a large piece, all at one time, without running up the price. What does this mean? I leave that to others to ponder. Bruce, seems like this one is right up your alley.
