I believe that DS, because of their wide variety of of innovative "electronic inventions" , none of which have caught on in a big way, will some day hit it big with one of their products. Maybe their wearable i-chip. In the meantime, their solid balance sheet, good management, and steady earnings growth ought to keep them a safe, if boring, investment.

Does anyone know the ins-and-outs of how this i-chip works and its potential in internet commerce? From their press release it supposedly provides uncrackable public key encryption using a 1000 bit key (someone may have typoed an extra zero there). It is readable by a $15 parallel port device and can act like an electronic wallet for i-net microcash transactions. This means that you can step up to anyone's computer, anywhere (if it has a chip reader) and do business on the i-way. What else can it do? does this sound like something important, or just another gimmick? Anyone have any facts or opinions?
