Stitch, my placing WDC ahead of SEG is purely based on their respective market performance during the last run. It seemed to me that WDC received all the credit and enjoyed the biggest run, earliest. Further, I believe it was SEG who constantly had negatives holding down both WDC and QNTM (remember how SEG was getting whipped in the high end business).

Obviously, they all fell hard, perhaps WDC the worst. Personally, the only DD company I wish to hold is QNTM. I see QNTM (and WDC as their close 2nd) as the emerging dominant player in this industry--someday displacing the stumbling SEG.

Take my comments for only what they are worth...opinion. I have been burned by DD companies and will never, never be a long-term investor in them again. I now place tight stops and will gladly pay the income taxes on the gains (if any) when the stops kick. (Realistically, my attitude is the same for all PC component suppliers. The big box makers can easily throw their weight around).

Long on QNTM...for now.

Kevin
