Speaking as one of those immigrant foreigners who worked in the USA for about decade before coming back in the mid 90's I can say I met a good number of American workers who, in my view, were good for doing my job, but they were missing just one crucial qualification: A university degree. I got my degree easily as it was paid for by the State, and proved useful and of qood quality. Back in those days even the living expenses were provided by UK local government once you were accepted for a place at University.

All those days are gone now, and all the jobs too. Western governments generally really have lost the plot. I am not sure if it was deliberate or not, but I am beginning to think is was all deliberate. Especially the running down of education in the USA (all that trans crap etc), the chaos, the sponsored rioting and promoted illegal immigration. This bickering about the Republicans being racist really doesn't not help matters one bit imho. The minorities seemed to like Trump, mainly because they had it better back then.
