Win, About 30 years ago I met a guy who married my wife's friend who was a white farmer Malawi. After the commies took over Zimbabwe and expropriated most of the farms and gave them to their friends,, the new owners realized that running a farm wasn't easy. So they hired him for a few years to manage the farms until it got too crazy and dangerous. He did that for a while in other southern African countries for a while, but eventually moved to Australia (where his wife was from). Very sad how the transition in southern Africa was handled. Hasn't improved life for the vast majority of Africans.
