| | | Re the coconut's film internship gig, the producer / investor is looking for help with
"I told him when I would be available over the summer given Paris and HK gigs, he said there’s potential for long-term internship, said over summer it would probably be remote. Said for internship would involve me doing script coverage for other proposed films and giving insight into how Gen Z would think, also bring in own story ideas, he was really interested in my history research. For the XXXYYYZZZ project, said script is done, now looking for investing for production stage" there would be opportunities to scope out locations, especially those of a historic nature.
I would not mind to intern and forfeit my EE degrees. Heck, I would even throw in my MBA with the finance focus, as long as I can keep the option-trading portion
...and I looked up the term 'script coverage' en.wikipedia.org
Script coverage is a filmmaking term for the analysis and grading of screenplays, often within the "script development" department of a production company. While coverage may remain entirely oral, it usually takes the form of a written report, guided by a rubric that varies from company to company. Criteria include, but are not limited to: - Identification: Title, Author, Type of Material, Locale, Genre - Logline: A one sentence summary - Comment summary: A paragraph summary of the analysis - Grade: Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor for categories that include characterization, premise, storyline, production values, dialogue and more - Synopsis: Summary of plot: 1–3 pages depending on script quality - Budget: The script reader's estimated budget - Analysis
I wanted to make sure the coconut knows to look at the wikipedia explanation, and she reverted with ...
Yes, I’ve already booked meeting with xyz, who used to write for Hollywood, for advice
I think the nut is going to do fine, because she looooooves movies, and ever since age ~10

i recommend "kedi" the movie ... which the coconut loves. she at one time noted wanting to be a 'youtuber'
Message 32909828
She is what the Coconut says, “I want to be a YouTuber” in such a case it might be difficult to steer her back on track for cross-border patent law :0)))))
Coconut came within a moment to be selected for a role back 2021 for Message 33448027 gig, but for her cantonese not local enough despite hours of emergency practice. At the time I warned her that production schedules are harsh, and if selected "where will you find the time to write college applications?"
Her reaction at that juncture was, "dada, if I get the role, college can wait"
true, very true
in any case, am cheering for her
in the meantime the cartoon she drew for the back cover of coming issue of her school's humour magazine has been accepted. The theme for the issue is 'big ideas'. Shall post once published.
Certainly looking like she is charting her own course.
Spring Break over, she skipped Florida, and courses start tomorrow.
She has a choreography gig to do for her upper class friend's play.
She had also said to me at around age ~10 that she wants to be a gig worker.
I need, as in have an imperative, to have Casper go up, the opposite of down :0) |
