Protest. Every year until your taxes are fixed at 65, in most states. Never let a year go by without protesting. My RE taxes are down 40% from original assessments. Use depreciation to your advantage. Market prices are irrelevant to property tax assessment, except at purchase. Then, protest, and down from there.
