Fuchi,

It looks like the article got pulled! Anyway, the results are quite unremarkable. The K6 3D had a Business Winstone 98 of about 26 running at 300 Mhz on a 100 Mhz bus under Windows NT. This compares with the NEC Direction SPL333 Pentium II score of 24.7 running at 333 Mhz on a 66 Mhz bus under Windows 95! Doesn't NT run business winstone about 25% faster than Windows 95? This means that the K6 3D should be slower than the Pentium II using the same clock frequency, front-side bus, and operating system using these benchmarks that do not make use of the 24 new 3D instructions. We should expect the K6 3D to only out perform the PII when running applications that use the new instructions.

Pravin.
