Michael Price's dire prediction is interesting -- and may have a lot of merit. Many REITs are now trading at substantial premiums over the net current market value per share of the underlying assets. Some REITs deserve the premium as their management teams are likely to continue to create additional value (via enhanced cash flow per share growth) for investors. Many REITs, though, are poorly managed in comparison, yet still trade at a high premium (success by association). These are the ones to watch out for and may well be what Michael Price has in mind.
