The problem is Joe Biden has always been arrogant and stupid. And that just compounds the obvious and advancing dementia he's demonstrated for several years already. He's never had a real job in his life. He's worked in government since graduating in the bottom half of his class at Syracuse Law School, and put bluntly, Syracuse Law wasn't known as a school for scholars back then.

As C2 has mentioned he suffered two brain aneurysms in 1988 on both sides of his brain! Back then the repair procedure involved risky open brain surgery and one of the long term side effects is diminished mental function. You can see the vacant stare in his eyes most times he's in front of a camera so it's small wonder why his handlers keep him far away from the press or taking any questions.
