These are not my pictures and not the best quality but are the other Eco-drive Campanola I own. Their genius, along with the 9 month power reserve is they have a jeweled mechanical chronograph integrated with the Eco-drive movement. In a way it's the best of both worlds, the chronograph has the tactile action you want and expect from a mechanical chronograph and it's also an accurate solar-powered time keeper. The finishing is superb. The last one is literally finished by hand on the dial with lacquers and applied seashell parts, no two are the same. These were never marketed directly to the west. Two I bought new directly from Japan and the other two from a serious collector of them in the USA that eventually downsized. I actually own too many Campanola overall, there are some I'd sell but only some of the quartz battery models where I have doubles or never wear. Doubt I'd ever sell the four pictured here or the one just acquired in prior message. These are not for everyone. They cost enough that it would give most pause depending on their means and goals of their collection. But that is mostly because of the brand name. Likely not a first, second, or even third nice watch. This is what you get when you know who you are and what you like as a collector, and for me having already acquired several heirloom timepieces. Also buying right is key as the resale value on these is not great. Not a great comparison but sort of reminds of the Hyundai Genesis which they've now spun out into their own line.

p.s. I wish the hands and markers were luminous but perhaps that's a small gripe. These watches came out in the mid to late 2000s.
