Ron-
Nintendo is producing Zelda 64. THQ is producing Quest 64. Supposedly, Q64 will arrive before Z64. If so, this would be a tremendous boon to THQ, since I believe it will be the first role-playing game for the N64. Q64 should arrive sometime in Q2. It should be a blowout, perhaps bigger than WCW vs. NWO.
My estimates (which will be more accurate than those for Pax, I promise) call for 650,000 units of WCW vs. NWO (N64) in 1998, 700,000 units for WCW Nitro (PSX), and 800,000 units of Quest 64. Several months ago, I said that WCW Nitro would be the best selling game for THQ yet. Quest 64 certainly has the potential to beat it. Another game that could be tremendously successful is WCW Nitro for N64, the sequel to NWO. This title should be released in Q4, when sales for NWO become slow. The Nitro games have much better graphics than the WCW vs. World and WCW vs. NWO (these 2 games were both the same design--by Asmik). The two Nitro titles are produced by Inland Productions, so THQ's royalty payments should be lower (because THQ owns 25% of Inland). I still think that THQ will buy the rest of Inland, especially if the Nitro games are very successful and Inland has other projects in the pipeline.
My estimates for Ghost are 150,000 units in 1998, 125,000 units for Ray Tracers and 75,000 units for Vs. I'm not counting on any sales of Bravo.
