Cohen went to prison for the payoffs so it'll seem fair to the jurors that the beneficiary should go too.
There are 34 counts in the indictment. Some of the charges will likely stick.
They've gotten the testimony of everyone involved. Stormy, Pecker, Cohen, Karen McDougall who was also paid off, and more. They've gotten the paperwork. They've got the checks with Trumpty's signature. It's only Trumpty's lies on the other side.
Most everyone in Manhattan hates Trumpty. Hell, it'll be a challenge for them to find jurors who HAVEN'T been cheated by him.
The payoff was totally unnecessary. Not a single Trumpty supporter would object to him screwing (or even assaulting women - hell, they admire him for it, they think it makes him manly). Another stupid error on LOW IQ Donnie's part.
There are MORE indictments coming, over more serious crimes than payoffs to g/f's like bullying secretaries of state to "find" enough votes to make him a winner, like enlisting slates of fake electors, like bullying Pence to refuse to accept electoral votes, conspiring with Republicans to throw out electors and substitute fake ones, like stealing a vast quantity of classified documents and (possibly) transferring them to third parties and instructing his lawyers to lie about the thefts, etc etc etc.
Trumptys people all know this and he's scared shitless. He really doesn't want to be behind bars. He'd be a flight risk if he was smart enough to shake his Secret Service guards. But he's a really stupid little man. And he deserves to spend the rest of his wretched life in prison. |
