It opens a very dangerous precedent IMHO since Trump is currently #1 Republican Presidential candidate for 2024. Beat him at the polls. Other possibilities:

1. Whoever wins on the Republican side will go after Biden and his family with criminal charges. It is my understanding that charges against Biden’s son can be manufactured.

2. If terrorist act against Russian German natural Nordstream gas pipeline is his doing as Seymore Hersh alleges, Biden can be tried for an act of war without congressional authorization, which can lead to a nuclear war with China and Russia.
3. Civil war in the United States.

I will not vote for Trump, but it appears the criminal charges are politically motivated, at least at the level of a felony, and it will only give Trump a popularity boost.

Given Biden’s mental impairment and track record as President (humiliating defeat in Afghanistan, getting us into ww3 with China and Russia, record inflation in the U.S. due to running the printing press), it is very likely he loses to a reasonable candidate on the Republican side. Why not let Trump run against him if you are confident Trump will lose again? Are we going to put every U.S. President to prison from now on?
